Our Origin

The PATRIARCH, WILLARD RAYMOND KIMBLE
born in Nogies Creek, in the county of Harvey, Ontario, Canada, on the 26 of May 1923.
The MATRIARCH, PHYLLIS MAY KIMBLE
born PHYLLIS MAY WATSON in Newburn On Tyne.

Willard, more commonly known as "Bill", met and married Phyllis, more commonly known as "Ginger", in England while serving in the Canadian army during World War 2.

In November 1952, they moved to Dawson Creek, British Columbia where they lived for the next 15 years. In 1957 they discovered that they were the only Kimbles in B.C. They then decided to start the Kimble Dynasty.

In January 1995 Willard was awarded the Kimble CANADIAN COAT OF ARMS by the CHIEF HERALD OF CANADA. This COAT OF ARMS has now become the KIMBLE FAMILY CREST. Shortly after that the Kimble flag was designed and has been flown at all family functions since.
On May 26 2007 we celebrated our 50th anniversary of the Kimble Dynasty of British Columbia by holding a gala event in Central Park in Chilliwack B.C. During this event we received our charter with 36 members. We also at that time rejoiced in having all charter member’s names engraved on bricks which were planted in the park forever. We finished that day by having a great feast in a local hall.

My name is Rodney Fox, I live in Hillingdon, west london, England.

I had my DNA analysed by Ancestry, and the results showed me with a 3-4th cousin of Karen Kinball.

Karen tells me her only connection to England is by Phyllis May Watson from newburn on Tyne.

My mother's Nicholson family also originates in Newburn, so I guess there is a chance of connection, which I will pursue.

However, and further information available on your side of the "pond" would be appreciated

Very best regards

Rodney Fox
